It prints black text documents amazingly quickly, with incredibly high yields at an outstanding cost-per-print, meaning you won't have to replace the cartridges often.

The scanning features are impressive, including a flatbed with lid hinges that can lift when scanning thicker items, a duplex-scanning automatic document feeder, and built-in fax. Unfortunately, since it's a monochrome laser printer, it's terrible for printing photos.

The back panel to access paper jams doesn't open fully, so it might be hard to reach if you have larger hands. Also, the flatbed scanner's scan resolution isn't as high as other options, but it should still be fine for office use.

All in all, it's an outstanding option for printing black and white documents, and it's one of the best small business printers we've tested.
