Where to get guild tabard

It is NOT for sale in any city whatsoever. There have been speculations of 'Guild Tabard' being implemented in Wrath of the Lich King, as a legendary item which can only be used while in a certain instance. This is purely speculation though. Comment by Thottbot Ok guys, bare with me as i'm kinda slow:P I joined a guild, went to Stormwind and bought the guild tabard, but i only payed 50 silver, am i somehow cheated?

Comment by Allakhazam alot of games now like to show off there Guild logo or in this case tabard its a picture representing there guild some it represents what they stand for similar to a family crest. Comment by Allakhazam Is there another type of Tabards that you guys are talking about? Because they cost 1g from any Guild Merchant, and if you think 1g is to much you might as well stop playing now because the cost of your gear is going to seem impossable to get if thats the Case.

But maybe you guys are talking about a diff item if so nvm ; Peace! Comment by Allakhazam Its one gold. If thats a hell to save up to then you might as well just not buy anything from now on. Comment by Allakhazam i really like it it shows off your pride of your guild.

Comment by Allakhazam 3 of them went for g. Comment by Allakhazam 1g was a small amount for me from lvl 20 and so on. Comment by Allakhazam if your in a nice guild with a good name and tabard, then its a pride to sh ow them off :. Comment by Allakhazam So damn overpriced. Comment by Allakhazam 1g is pretty cheap, you should easily be able to afford one by lvl Right now at lvl 64 I laugh at myself when i thought 1g was a lot of money I carry on average now It's even better when your guild has a good-looking tabard, it makes it more worth it.

If your a guild master i suggest you make the tabard black and gold Edited, May 19th pm by Aralo. Comment by Allakhazam Tabards are way over-priced in my opinion. I'm in a Guild but refuse to pay 70 SP for something that has no real value.

Comment by Allakhazam Who on earth paid Gold for one of these? Are there Purple tabards that no-one is teling us about? Comment by Allakhazam i throw my money away like nothing and still got a a couple gold Comment by Allakhazam whats the point of a tabard?

Comment by Allakhazam I finally got mine : Well I finally am in a guild where they have a cool looking tabbard, I also use the colors on the tabbard black purple silver for the guild site. It's also about 10x easier to use than the actual tabard interface. Otherwise people are going to want to be overgeared for the content they're doing before wearing this if it has no stats. Comment by AveryZan I just got this and it exceeded my expectations.

You get twice the reputation per quest, but the extra rep does not count against your weekly cap. This could be a bug, but I sure hope it stays like this. As is it effectively makes the weekly cap for the same amount of work as the typical Pretty awsome I think. Comment by Kasa24 Costs G from guild vendor once Honored with your guild. Changes the border on your regular guild tabard, making it more expansive.

Fills out a bit more, makes your border more noticeable, in such a way that I thought really adds to your tabards look. Indeed, making it more 'epic'. As the text plainly shows, binds to your Battle. This tabard and Illustrious Guild Tabard both count towards the achievement Represent and the other tabard achievements.

Sadly this is no longer true. In patch 4. Comment by You have to be honored to purchase this from the guild vendor, and the item is account-bound, so you can send it to alts that are not necessarily honored.

However, if your main is not honored yet i. I obtained two Small Glimmering Shards when disenchanting my tabard. Comment by chrth 4. These guild rep gains are not restricted by the cap; only the base reputation in the calculation hits the cap. An example: Quest is completed earning you 38 base reputation with your guild; that is the total applied against the cap. Comment by Its not explicitly stated elsewhere, but this in a dynmaic item like normal Guild Tabards and will diplay your guild crest.

Comment by MikadoGG I think that this tabard is bugged currently. I completed 12 quests in Tol Barad while wearing this tabard and the floating combat text said I gained roughly 83 rep for each other them. Dividing by 12 yields roughly 23 rep per quest which is even less than usual per quest. Either the tabard is bugged or the guild UI is bugged. Either way this is confusing. Comment by synackk I can confirm, without a doubt, any comments above about the extra rep counting towards the reputation cap is not true.

I earned over guild XP this week. I'm hoping to clear up all misinformation. Comment by Mairin Interesting note is make sure you still have the buff up when earning guild rep. Certain activities such as the Maw of Iso'rath chain that forces "fake" deaths can remove it although you just need to re-equip to gain the buff. I mean, I was running ZA and no rep for my guild - when i swithced to my IF tabard, here comes the rep gains: how irrational is that?

Comment by Igniz Anyone know a good way for a lvl 60 to farm rep with a guild? I have a 60 twink, but I need it to be honored. Comment by Thehangman I do not know if this is a bug or not and if it is going to be fixed later on, but as for the moment the extra guild reputation earned from this tabard does not count towards the weekly guild reputation cap. In other words; with this on, you can earn double as much reputation each week - reputation. Comment by Shamzak Do you get to keep it if you leave guild?

And does the bonus work with another guild rep than where the tabard was bought from? Comment by Does this require a guild achievement to purchase from the guild vendor, or is it natively available to any guild? Comment by lyph3 I'm leveling with a friend. Where is the Alliance crest designer? Comment by Thottbot what happens if you buy the tabard before the crest so you have the gray one, then you buy the crest?

Comment by Thottbot nothing, you just can't see it, and when you join another guild it'll show thier tabard instead.

Comment by Thottbot Where's the Horde crest designer? Comment by Thottbot Your guild tabard only shows the design of the guild you are currently in. If you leave a guild, you go back to grey. If you join a new one, you get a new design on your tabard. Comment by Thottbot yes but i think you have to pay another 10g to change the crest again: damn you crest designers!

Comment by Thottbot Well When you leave guild and you have the Tabard Tabard turns into White without any logos When you join another guild, tabard changes automatically into their logo.

Comment by Thottbot Well, i think taberts really make the game more valueable.. Without them guilds would be like all the same, just the name would be the difference, if you just take a quick look.. Comment by Thottbot The tabard reamins, but is grey. If you then join a new guild you can un-equip it and then re-equip it and the new guild's design will be on it. Some guild will send a tabard to new members after they have proved themselves loyal.

Comment by Thottbot The tabard stays, but its gray, but if you join a new one it get's the Look of that gulids tabard. Comment by Thottbot My friend is making a guild, and he let me design the tabard. It may sound like it doesnt work, but we found a way to do it. I counted how many clicked from the starting things on the editor, and then he did them. Go haveing friends that don't want to be in control of everything. Comment by Thottbot I'd really like to know before I try this and it results in a glitch or somthing and I lose 10 gold.

I'm second in command blah blah blah of my guild and I just have completley different taste I guess I want to pay the 10g and design my own individual tabard. Is It possible to design my tabard while I'm a member of a guild, and if so will it turn blank when I leave? I have uploaded images of tabard and design interface. Comment by If i don't have guild and by tabard can i color it or it stay gray? Comment by Malk67 Also one thing to remember is that in order to start a guild you'll need 9 other people to sign the guild charter i.

This tends to be done in trade of all places not like there's a legitimate chanel for it or anything. I've seen people offer up to 10g for people to sign their charter with the option to drop out once the charter recieves all 10 "signatures". Comment by DrCheis This was the first tabard available in the game, and the only one for quite some time. Comment by elcohaulic Bliz' needs to kick down some of those new guild rep points for wearing guild tabards in bg's and pvp events.

What better way to represent your brothaz then to show your colors to the foo'z that you just pwnt? Comment by Do guild tabards actually help you get extra xp for your guild? Comment by jamvaru so, since reputation is silly, tabards are essentially meaningless, cept to represent, as indicated correctly above Comment by Takata Only for turning in quests, but I think this guild tabard does nothing.

Only the next ones, Illustrious and renowned will help increase guild rep gain when you turn in quests and daily quests.
