You'll need to Stagger the foe in order to defeat him in battle, so use a pair of Ravagers whenever possible to build it up quickly.

After it regains its composure, it'll cast a barrier around itself that prevents any and all damage. Remove the barrier by Staggering it again, then switch back to your trio of Commandos to get the most bang for your buck. Use a Medic to remove and status hits and heal when necessary to win the battle. Your prize for victory is the Aloeidai Fragment and CP. After the fight, you're saved by a familiar albeit slightly older face. Hope Estheim is no longer the brooding kid trying to avenge his mother's death.
